MEGASEEDS™ Brief History
Sue to the slow and gradual degradation of human and natural resources that Madagascar is undergoing, people are constantly living under pressure and are compelled to live only within the present without thinking of the consequential impacts that their actions can lead up to in the near future.
This is how MEGASEEDS™ was born:
MEGASEEDS™ founders are Africans and Asians, both global citizens, working within a dynamic and international team.
The core principles of solidarity, friendship and cooperation are our tenet, for fostering better relations among people around the world on resolving global issues of common concern.
MEGASEEDS™, Inc. originated a few days after the TED Global conference 2007: " Africa the next Chapter" in Arusha Tanzania, where Andriankoto Harinjaka Ratozamana had the opportunity to meet with Keiko Satoh, an Asian TED Global attendee and a long time TEDster.
MEGASEEDS™ wants to build a strong partnership between Africa and Asia where two different cultures are brought together in hopes of turning Madagascar into a food basket and medicine cabinet for the world.
Following the TED Conference 2009 in Long Beach, Hiromasa Ito, a former Senior Consultant at Ben & Co decided to join MEGASEEDS™’s team to bring his expertise and reinforce the vision of the company .
Our ambition has brought us with a strong determination to overcome challenges in hopes to develop our economy and enhance people lifestyle, all of this, in conformity with national and international policies.
